Born and bred in Christchurch, Cam is passionate about sport and helping people return to their active lifestyles or introducing activity into their lives for the first time.
Cam competed at a national level in swimming for over 14 years and has since worked with a wide range of athletes, including swimmers, dancers, and rugby players in Christchurch. His dedication to getting the most out of his patients shines through whether he’s treating injuries, promoting injury prevention, or strength and conditioning.
Cam has postgraduate training in shoulder treatment and prevention under Angela Cadogan, dry needling, the McKenzie Method, and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy. Cam has also worked as a sideline physiotherapist for rugby teams in both Dunedin and Christchurch.
His key areas of interest include shoulder injuries, ACL/knee rehabilitation, Achilles tendon injuries/ruptures, return to work plans and helping people return to a sport or activity they love. He understands firsthand the frustration of being injured—especially in the lead-up to a big event—and is committed to helping clients get back to where they want to be.
Outside of work, Cam enjoys mountain biking, running, hitting the gym, and and spending time with his family.
We love seeing our patients, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
